NASCAR Race Cancellation Policy

Purpose

Establish the policy to be following in the event that the race is not held as scheduled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. 

One-Day Delay

If the race is scheduled for the next day, the group will attend the race and remain in the hotel for one additional night. The costs of the additional motel rooms will be the responsibility of GLHS or SCMC. All other expenses attributed to the rescheduling of the race such as meals, phone calls, etc will be the responsibility of the individuals on the trip. 

More Than One-Day Delay or Cancellation

If the race is delayed for more than one day or cancelled, the group will return home according to the original schedule. 

Independent Actions

Should any participant elect to follow a different course such as making personal transportation arrangements, the Speakers Travel representative must be notified. In this instance, GLHS or SCMC will have no further responsibility for the participant(s).
