DAY 1-  MONDAY, OCTOBER 6: DEPART USA

V Depart Indianapolis in afternoon or Sacramento in the morning to Newark.  Leave Newark at 8:25 PM with meals served en route.  Arrive Lisbon 8:25 AM the next day.

DAY 2- TUESDAY, OCT. 7: LISBON / FATIMA

V Arrive and be met by our tour manager and motor coach for a tour of Lisbon, capital of Portugal. See the birthplace of St. Anthony and celebrate Mass. 
V Continue to Fatima with a stop to venerate the 13th century miracle of the Eucharist in Santerem. 
V In Fatima after dinner we can    participate in the  candlelight procession on the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.  (D)

DAY 3- WEDS., OCTOBER 8: FATIMA 
V  Today we visit the holy places related to Fatima, Aljustrel, Valinhos and Loca do Cabeco,  and visit the basilica to venerate the tombs of the children visionaries; attend the
     concelebrated Mass in the Capelinha. Free afternoon to explore Fatima.  In the evening after dinner we can participate in the  Rosary followed by the candlelight procession.

DAY 4- THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9: FATIMA

V Stay one more day in Fatima for our own devotions and private activities.
    OPTIONAL TOUR for an additional cost can visit the monastery of Batalha, (XIV cent.) dedicated to Our Lady of Victory, including the royal tombs and the one of Prince
    Henry the Navigator with free time for lunch in the fishing village of Nazare on the Atlantic coast.  (B,D)   

DAY 5- FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10: FATIMA / AVILA

V Travel into Spain to the city of Avila,  a fantastic walled city of Castile and birthplace of St. Teresa, reformer of the Carmelites.  We can visit her birth place with her relics and
    walk in the medieval streets of the city.  (B,D)

DAY 6-  SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11: MADRID / GUDALAJARA 

V Continue  our journey from Avila to Madrid, the capital of Spain, from the bus we will see the most fantastic avenues, parks and Museums, with a stop near the Royal Palace
    for pictures.  Free time in the center for lunch and shopping. Overnight in nearby Guadalajara (B,D)

DAY 7- SUNDAY, OCT. 12: GUADALAJARA / ZARAGOZA / LOURDES

V Continue to Lourdes, stopping in Zaragoza, the city of Aragon where there is the first Marian shrine of Spain- the Basilica of Our Lady of Pillar.
V Celebrate Mass and have free time to have lunch and enjoy the area before continuing to Lourdes.  (B,D).

DAY 8- MONDAY, OCTOBER 13: LOURDES

V Dedicate our morning visiting the holy places related to St. Bernadette.  Later have time for private devotions and the Baths
V Join in the ceremonies for the blessing of the sick.
V Attend the candlelight rosary processions after supper.  (B,D)

DAY 9- TUES. OCT 14: LOURDES FREE DAY (OR OPTIONAL TOUR)
V Completely free day for private devotions at Lourdes with breakfast, dinner and overnight at hotel.
    Or possibility for OPTIONAL EXCURSION OUTSIDE OF LOURDES. (B,D)

DAY 10- WEDS. OCT 15:LOURDES / BARCELONA

V Travel to Barcelona crossing the Pyrenees mountains again on a different road.  Dinner and overnight in the hotel.  (B,D)

DAY 11- THURS. OCT 16: BARCELONA               

V Visit Montserrat, a Benedictine Abbey with a Marian Shrine where we venerate “La Moreneta” , Patroness of Catalonia,  and have time to visit the mountain complex. 
    Afternoon sightseeing tour of  Barcelona, second city of Spain. Free time to explore on our own before our farewell dinner together. 

DAY 12- FRIDAY, OCT 17: RETURN TO USA   

V Transfer to the airport for our return flight to USA.  Depart Barcelona at 10:45 AM.  Arrive Newark 2:00 PM - Depart Newark at 3:20 PM
    Arrive in Indianapolis at  5:49 PM or Depart Newark at 4:30 PM and Arrive in Sacramento at 10:58 PM (via Houston).
